jwt6577 asked: At this point, I lay Catwoman 0 in the lap of the internet "fan" community. They bitched and bitched and bitched about the sex scene in issue 1 when it was nothing that hadn't happened before or since in comics until DC moved Winick and March off the book. And what did this get you, internet? Catwoman Issue 0, that's what.

See, I admit Catwoman #1 wasn’t exactly a good issue. I found it all uphill form there. The scene in the second episode with Bruce and a disguised Selina at an upscale party in issue 2. Catwoman FUCKING UP THOSE THUGS in issue 3. Winnick started building a decent supporting cast, played up the street walker past and had Selina concerned for that community. Plus Winnick tied up damn near everything by the time he left.

March started hitting his groove by issue 2. Its odd too-he’s a different kind of cheesecake artist. Yes his anatomy is off but you can’t say he draws all the same body types because you can point to characters who have different physiques(truthfully he seemed to do it more for characters with speaking parts). Facial expressions? You say their weird and contorted-better than the same two faces right?

I get that the run is not on Brubakers level or some other creators but just because you get a woman to write a female character does not automatically mean you’re going to have an improvement. Bad writing is bad writing no matter what gender, race, politics, etc.
